Hello
The anti-virus signature is released on every day.
The application signature and other threat signature without anti-virus is released once a week.
So How is brightcloud url filtering database updating??
I don't know how make the schedule of url-filtering in dynamic updates.
Please let me know it.
Thanks.

the brightcloud or the pan db url database hosted on the cloud is updated on the fly. is dependant of the new url categorization
but and with brightcloud update database hosted on the palo is updated by the sheduler.
and you could have a difference between database the hosted on the cloud or on the palo.
it s why the if we don't find the url in the database on the palo automaticaly we will chech the cloud hosted database
regard's

Hi cheon,
Generally speaking, the BrightCloud database is published once a day, but can be updated more often in the event of an emergency (e.g. gross miscategorization). As a best practice, it is recommended that you set your download interval for BrightCloud to once a day to get the latest updates.
Hope this helps,
Doris

If you do change the url update to daily instead of weekly, you may also want to update the dynamic url cache to match. If you leave this at the default 1 week changes in url categorization may be delayed several days in application to traffic.
Updates in url filtering may be delayed by days in application to sessions
