I have installed a PA 500. With 2 ISP untrust interfaces and one trust interface. Since palo alto is very new to me do I need to configure a DMZ for my spam filter. If so how do I.

Palo Alto interfaces and zones are not specifically "dmz", "untrust" or "trust". Basically you can choose to allow/deny whatever traffic you need to and from any interface and zone. Security, NAT and other such rules just need to specify source/destination zones. So in essence the name "dmz" is just a name and can really be anything you want it to be. The one rule to know is that by default PA denies traffic from one zone to another (i.e. from untrust to dmz) unless explicitly allowed. Traffic to and from same zone (i.e. from untrust to untrust) are allowed by default unless explicitly denied.
