How to generate log alerts based on events ?

I can generate system related logs emails alerts based on the criticality.Is there a way to generate email alerts for system logs based on events.

Can you provide an example of events you want to see in email or syslog?

Hi,

I need some events which are categeorized in Severity level informatinal. These logs are related to High availibility and events are under state-change categeory.

You can log or send email alerts for informational messages but there is no way to pick and choose the messages you want to log. You have to decide between all informational alerts or no informational alerts being sent to SYSLOG/EMAIL.
