How to import device configuration into Panorama ?

L3 Networker

Hello,

We have a customer who has installed and configured a PanOS 5.0.0 A/P cluster of devices a few time ago.

Now he has bought a Panorama licence to centrally manage and report his devices.

Is there a quick and straight way to import devices congigurations into Panorama ?

I have seen this documentation that describes how to manually import a configuration

https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/docs/DOC-1742

However it is a quite long and tricky way to achieve this operation.

Regards,

Laurent

I believe the migration tool currently supports this capability.

Another option is to use the dev center script example that can help with the process:

Have been asking this question myself, and I've been told there is not any straight forward method to import the configuration into Panorama. You need to use the method described in the document you referred to.

Hopefully this could be a feature in future releases of the Migration tool, but to my knowledge not possible at the moment

I believe the migration tool currently supports this capability.
