Actually, the URL databases posted on the support site should be signed, in which case you will need to use the command:

scp import signed-url-database

You can download the URL database seed file from the support site. After that you can import the file using scp import command below

admin@FW-500> scp import url-database from
  <value>  Source (username@host:path)

To install you can use the command below

admin@FWNH1F72> request url-filtering install database major-version 3 minor-version 642 md5
  <value>  MD5 of BrightCloud database

Please use any md5 hasing utility which will provide the md5 hash value which you can use in the above command.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Manish

Thank you. It is very useful for me. I will triy it.

i get these errors when trying to manually install brightcloud database:

Jul 27 14:09:16 Installing uploaded database...

Jul 27 14:09:16 Invalid BrightCloud database

Jul 27 14:09:16 Invalid URL database, date not found, delete uploaded file

Jul 27 14:09:16 Error installing uploaded URL database

any ideas?

Please identify how you initiated the update, is brightcloud activated on the device?

Hello

I got the same error when I tried installing using the command: request url-filtering database major-version ...

It worked for me when I did: request url-filtering installed signed-database

Hope this helps. Best Regards,
