How to keep overview on Security Policies

Hello,

I´m in a project of migrationg a Juniper SSG to a Palo Alto FW. While migrating the existing policies I find it where confusing to list all policies in one list. Juniper separted the policies by the source an destination security zone. Is there any best practice to keep the security policies not confusing. How to group or filter them? Any tip from practice welkom. Thanks a lot.

Regards

Michael

PS Please don´t mind my school english.

to make things a little more 'visual' you could create tags for all your zones and colorcode (filter) them for a better 'bird's eye view' of your policy. you can then also use the tag browser to more easily sort and move your policies around:

Hi,

Do you use Migration Tool from Palo? I didn't play much with it but l believe you do have a few options there
