I can see the userid's in the agent running but they are not showing up on my logs

Confirmed all of the above. I fixed the problem and no one even touched on it.
Reverse DNS look-up. If you use Windows DNS you have to make sure there is a reverse DNS look-up for the designated IP addresses. Once I set that us the data started filtering in slowly but surely. Riddle solved folks.

Hi...So you were seeing userIDs in the logs before you made the change? What was the change to the IP range and where did you apply it?
One thing to check is to make sure the security zone(s), where users are found, have enable user identification checked. Thanks.

I extended an already in use IP Range in Windows DHCP.
I made sure the users were showing up in the UserID Agent I installed on my DC. They are.
I made sure the security zones have user identification checked. I am still getting userid information on the IP range that was already there. Just not seeing the extended range.

In the CLI of the PA device, do you see ip-user mappings via command:
> show user ip-user-mapping all
or
> show user ip-user-mapping ip <x.x.x.x>
The mappings will confirm that the agent is communicating to the PA device. Also, please check the traffic log for traffic from those new IP addresses.

That's a weird quirk! Good catch. I think there weren't any replies just because no one expected such a weird quirk honestly
