implement the PA External Dynamic List (EDL) IP/Domain blocklists

L0 Member

Hello, we have an existing opened case PA case (01865541) but having trouble and delays in getting connected with PA engr. Hence, am trying my luck here in Live community.

My customer is preparing to implement the PA External Dynamic List (EDL) IP/Domain blocklists on our PA, but it is not able to retrieve the EDL from server URL.

QUESTIONS:

1. What PA interface and IP address does the PA use to source the EDL retrieval?

2. Is a PA "Service Route" needed to reach the EDL?  If so,  IPv4?  IPv6? and which interface? Management or any other?

Thank you in advance

EDL fetching is done via the management interface, unless you set a Service Route for it.  There's a separate "External Dynamic Lists" Service Route option available.
