internet ipv6 to on-premise ipv4 nat

L3 Networker

Hi all,

there is a domain abc.com and there is an ipv6 dns record for that.so when using ipv6 from cloud is it possible to destination nat this to the ipv4 server inside.

I know as a workaround we can add an ipv6 ip to that server but it is not possible now.

(INTERNET)ipv6 (client)----- ipv6 FW  ipv4 ---- ipv4(server)

Regards

@PanIst,

Link you are looking for a NAT64 rule where this is easily done.

You can find information on how to configure that HERE

hi

it is(the document) from trust to untrust we already checked that.My question is different.opposite of that.

Regards

Resurrect this old thread,

@PanIst Did you figure out if this can be done?

Untrust to Trust one to one nat64

Our server has a valid  "AAAA" record:

We do not want to convert IPv4 to IPv6 and then NAT64 it as described in the available materials.

Internet >    2001:56b:f:1600::3 > FW NAT64 > IPv4 ] > 192.168.0.10 Server

Thanks!
