Hi All,.
Is it possible to assign ip address to tunnel interface while using for s to s vpn? if yes,.. what ip needs to be used? I am trying to do PBF to tunnel interface for which we need IP address assigned to tunnel interface.

You can use the tunnel interface with any IP address. But you need to have a corresponding proxy ID/route in the IPSEC peer.

Hi,
If your question is having the same IP on both tunnel and physical interface, answer is "no"
If question is configuring IP address on tunnel interface, yes you can do that. Need is either for management (ping tunnel ...) or dynamic routing.

Hi,
Yes, it is possible to assign IP address to tunnel interface for S-to-S VPN. If you configure the tunnel interface with an IP address and a separate security zone, you will have more clarity on the tunnel traffic.
Commonly use an IP address on a tunnel interface when:
a) Using VPN tunnel monitoring, ie pinging from the tunnel interface to a destination behind the remote peer
b) Using dynamic routing protocols to learn routes via the tunnel interface. We cannot have an unnumbered tunnel interface to participate in dynamic routing.
