Hi,
I am having problems troubleshoot access to http://www.stockbrokers.barclays.co.uk/ when i try to login,(https://www.stockbrokers.barclays.co.uk/idv/Login1.asp?category=&usecase=login&popup=&)
I have allowed *.barclays.* on the url filtering profile, i can see the initial request in the logs, but not the second bit, plus no message from palo is received, just get a windows
Please assist on how i can troubleshoot this further.
Cheers
Bhav

Use plug-ins to test the website like HTTPWatch or Fiddler to verify that the URL/ACL matches what is needed for the website.
When I go to: https://www.stockbrokers.barclays.co.uk/idv/Login1.asp?category=&usecase=login&popup=&
I see these websites as part of the Main page "Get Request":
https://rd.clickshift.com/js/convert.js
https://switch.atdmt.com/action/0w1sto_BARXlogin_1

I get the same error when using IE and the famous "connection reset" message when using firefox - however, I think it's related to captive portal intercepting the request for user authentication.
I notice it only when the WMI polling fails to correctly identifty the logged on user (if it fails it defaults to captive portal to id) OR if the PC is logged in with an account that would be unidentified and sent to captive portal.
Has anyone ever seen this before? Traffic and URL logs do not show anything - I truly mean nothing shown since the request is being intercepted.
Is it possible that the PA device is being overloaded so it's not serving the captive portal page?
