Hi All
I was wondering if anyone has managed to get a Kindle e-reader (E Ink not Kindle Fire) to work with a PA Captive Portal.
We have had a couple of users who have been able to connect to the WiFi however the logon page will never show on the browser.
Thanks
Tom

Hi Tom,
Kindle e-reader doesn't seem to support browsing on non standard ports and that's required for captive portal.
The redirect will look like this
HTTP/1.0 302 Moved
Location: https://192.168.0.1:6081/php/uid.php?vsys=1&url=http://www.google.com/search%3Fq%3Dkindlereadertest
Content-Length: 0
Pragma: no-cache
Cache-Control: no-cache
Either redirect or you'll need to import a certificate into the Kindle (if using transparent) and that is also not an option apparently for the e-reader. Certs can't be imported.

Salvo
