Dear:
Good afternoon, is it possible from my LAN network, to connect via Global Protect, to the external portal/gateway of my Firewall ?
I tried, despite having the permissions at the policy level and it fails to establish a connection.
Is it strictly necessary to have an internal gateway for this? To connect from my LAN to an Internal or should I be able to connect from the LAN to my WAN (External Gateway/Gateway).
I remain attentive, thank you very much
Best regards

Sure, this is possible and you don't need to configure an internal gateway to accomplish this (although I would personally you setup an internal gateway). The first thing I would look at is simply making sure that your internal clients can properly resolve your portal/gateway while connected to your internal DNS servers. If it can resolve the address, double check to see if you can access the portal directly via a web browser. If that isn't working, depending on your configuration, you may need to look into U-Turn NAT.
