Can you expand on exactly what you're running into? Are you seeing latency across the firewall after unblocking traffic or is this just to a particular resource? Did you unblock access to a resource from your network that is causing load to increase across the firewall or was it to your network? 

When the teams url, for example, is unblocked, users experience latency and there's an increased load on the firewall.
