I have an exchange server that is getting block-continues for file types that are not being explicitly blocked...pdf, jpg, etc.
It has no way to continue.....
I believe it must be some default behavior I am not aware of in the AV or AS profiles?
Where are these actions defined?
I had to move the exchange server(name= domain\barracuda_ldap) into an Exception policy I built.
Is there a way around this?
TIA

Hi,
You can edit File Blocking Profile under Objects tab, it's not AV or AS profiles.
You can specify application to apply File Blocking in Profile.
OR
You can completely separate security rule that currently blocking exchange server traffic.
New security rule is just for mail traffic with no File Blocking Profile on it.

It was a default behavior in one of the AV or AS profiles.
I ended up removing the AV, AS, URL and File Blocking Profile for the Mail Server.

Doesnt sound ok to me.
Create a new threat profile where you define to block (instead of block-continue) identified virusfiles (if thats what triggered last time) and assign this threat profile to the rule regarding your mailserver.
