Maximum Access Domains Per Admin Panorama

L3 Networker

Hi guys,

What is the maximum number of access domains you can configure per admin? I tried adding a 26th access domain to an admin, but was presented with the following error.

admin-bar@panorama01# set mgt-config users rus permissions role-based custom dg-template-profiles 2933-Officenet2 profile DG-default

Server error : 2933-Officenet2 constraints failed : No. of access domains configured exceeds maximum allowed(25)

How can this be addressed, or is this simply a limit? Feature request maybe?

Thanks
Jack

As the error is stating, 25 is the maximum number of access domains that you assign. I don't think that there is anyway around this limitation currently, you would have to make a future request for the limit to be raised.

Out of curisoity at that point why wouldn't you build out larger access domains that incompass more devices, it kinda sounds like you have an access group for each device and you are trying to assign all of them?

As this thread is a bit old but google still finds it. The numbers of access domains have increased significantly to 4000. https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/panorama/11-0/panorama-admin/set-up-panorama/set-up-administrative...
