monitor a subinterface bandwdith with snmp

L2 Linker

Hi all,

i was wondering if it is possible to monitor a subinterface with snmp.

I'm trying to monitor bandwidth utilization with Cacti, but i'm only able to check physichal interfaces.

Thanks

Sergio

Monitoring Sub-interfaces is not possible currently. There is already a feature request on this currently which is FR 780. You can vote for the same so that it priority gets raised.

Is there a way to vote for FRs that is web based? Or is it a manual "talk to your SE" type of thing?

I am not really sure about that and also I assume the SNMP behavior changed in 5.0. I will double check about both and will let you know soon.

Thanks,

Sandeep T

Your SE will be able to vote on your behalf, they have access to the FR database.

Some new features only related to SSL decryption are introduced for SNMP in 5.0, so this will be a feature request via u r SE .
