We have a domain that is going out of commission, so I need to move the palo alto firewall management software to a different domain. Is there a safe way of doing this?

Hello @Joshua.Ferren
would it be possible to elaborate more on what exact product you are referring to? Also what domain is it? Do you mean AD domain?
Kind Regards
Pavel

We have an AD domain that is being decommissioned. The whole domain will no longer exist. I'm not part of the networking team, I'm part of the server team. The software that the networking team log into to manage all of the firewalls is what needs moved to a new domain.

It's probably best to bring this up to your network team. To answer your question, this is really not that big of a deal if you plan for it appropriately and ensure that everything is updated. Exactly what needs to be updated and how big of a lift getting ready to do all of that will be entirely environment dependent.
It kind of sounds like you believe this is simply updating Panorama (I think this is what your alluding to based off of your comment), but in most situations this is going to be a much bigger update than just authenticating to Panorama or the firewalls themselves. If you haven't already, engage your network team and if they have any questions about what they need to do they can ask here.
