PA 200 and IPSec tunnel throughput question

L4 Transporter

hello

Can someone confirm that (from real case) this device can handle 10Mbit or better 20Mbit VPN tunnel with AES256 encryption?

slv,

It takes a minimal hit on the CPU utilization having one tunnel enabled with about 10 users behind the device. I don't know if you had more devices if it makes a bigger impact or not, but I would not say that it causes a major concern.

I can confirm that AES256 vpn between PA200 and PA3020 throughput is at least 45Mbit (It maxes out connection given by ISP).

Hi Raido

Thx for sharing such information.

What about data plane CPU occupation - is it has impact to it?
