PA support SPT protocol?

Hello team.

When configuring Layer 2 of interface that support spanning-tree protocol? or not?

PA can be used SPT root bridge and sending recieving BPDU packets?

When you set the interface on PA to Layer2 mode, the PA will pass BPDU's it receives to other L2 interface. PA does not take part in spanning tree protocol and cannot be root bridge since it does not participate in SPT. Hope this helps.

If passing all bpdu without processing - Is it also applicable for BPDUs from un-trusted side? Do you have any commands and documents layer 2 traffic and operations on PA and also HA link states Thanks

Does this behavior change if the Palo Alto are doing VLAN translation?
