L4 Transporter

Hi,

We have a PA200 which takes a long time to reboot. its like 13 minutes. Is that normal for PA220 ?? any way to know why its taking this time?

@BigPalo,

That would be expected before it's fully operational.

14 minutes is the expected time? is there any official link from PA indicating this Pa220 slowness?

@BigPalo,

Nothing official that I can find at a glance, but plenty of articles complaining that the boot time on a PA-220 is expected to be anywhere between 10-15 minutes depending on a few different factors. Boot time is notoriously long on Palo Alto's lower end models.

Only 13 minutes! you are doing well then... 13 minutes is probably the fastest time you will see. Once you have a fairly large configuration you may see up to 20 or so minutes. This is "normal" for a 200/220

Glad I found this topic, same issue.
I find them to be slow in general, when something is committing and you minimalize it to lookup some other stuff. That will test your patience

I topped that with 25 minutes haha
