Hi
Our PA threat prevention has expired and we don't plan to renew it now,
so what do you think the damage that may be happening untill we renew the license.

could you refer to this KB: What Happens When the Threat Prevention License Expires? and Documentation? In short, you will not get latest threat / antivirus updates. All security policies using antivirus/anti-spyware/vulnerability profiles will continue to function with old definition which degrades Firewall functionality.

The benefit that you have is that I'd rather have older definitions than no definitions. Is there a particular reason why you/leadership decided not to renew the threat prevention subscription? In my personal opinion that is one of three subscriptions that I consider to be critical to a successful PAN deployment.
