PAN-OS 8.0.8 - use region in policy based fowarding rule

L2 Linker

Hi community!

I would like to know, if it is possible to use a region-object as destination address in a Policy-based-forwarding-rule?

I found an articel from 2014 ("Policy Based Forwarding PBF based on destination country or self defined region?") that says it is not possible.

Since it is a couple of years old, the PAN-OS version mentioned in that thread was 6.1 and we are using now PAN-OS 8.0.8, I would like to know if this is possible with version 8.0.8?

PAN-OS 8.0 Guide says in the PBF section that Regions is an option for the Destination.

But PAN-OS 6.1 Guide had this description also...so just to be sure if there´s a possibility right now?

Thanks,

Alex.

I do see the admin guide incorrectly lists regions as an option, I'll have that corrected!

Thank you very much @reaper for your quick response and for correcting the guide!

Greetings,

Alex.
