PAN-OS Manual Upgrade

L1 Bithead

Hi All,

I were tried to upgrade the PA-850 from PAN-OS 8.0.7 to PAN-OS 8.1.0. I have uploaded the image but it didn't list the image.

Any input on this ??

Hello,

I would try a refresh and then have it check again for updates. Also do you have a lot of older code images? If yes, it could be running low on space so I would recommend removing all old images except for 8.0.0 and 8.0.7, just in case you have to roll back.

@gpsriram,

This was an issue with 8.0 that was fixed in later updates, performing the upgrade through the CLI should fix the issue, or just update...speaking of

Please follow the recommended process and actually upgrade to the latest 8.0.* maintenance release prior to performing the upgrade to 8.1. Jumping straight to 8.1 from your current release is NOT recommended any longer.
