Panorama: Is it possible to assign an admin role to a vsys?

L2 Linker

In Panorama, is it possible to assign an admin role to a vsys? I don't see the option on the admin role tab in Panorama. I only see it on the device itself. Please see attached screen shots as a comparison between the Panorama view and the Device view. Thank you.

The Access Domain had a Device Context option if you select an Admin Role which is Device Group specific. You can limit the VSYS an admin can administer after a Context Switch occurs. The Access Domain is applied if RADIUS is being used but this is not requried. If you create a local admin and select an Admin Role, then there will be an Access Control tab that can be used in the same way as Access Domain selection.

All comments are 5.0 specific and they apply to 4.X as well although named slightly differently.

Hello, you can assign a role to a device group which can in turn can be assigned to a specific vsys.
