Hi,
we have a palo alto connected to ISP managed router for lease line connectivity, wherein we have 2 public ip ranges
x.x.154.x and x.x.39.x
our side i create subinterface and added one ip 154.78 and 39.201, and on the ISP side they configured only 39.X and allowed IPs from both these ranges.
Now if i try ping to any ip from 39.X range am able to successfully, however if am doing this for 154.X range am not able to.
lilttle perplexed. Any help will be appreciated.

Hello,
Make sure you source them from the proper interface, the ping. Otherwise it will source from the management interface by default. Also check the logs to see why they are getting blocked/denied.

Thank Guys
I had a word with my ISP provider and they said 154.X will not ping since they had only configure 39.X on their side.

You can add both IP ranges to the interface instead of creating a subinterface
