QOS egress interface

Hello,

is anyone know how to implement and chose egress interface in Network>Qos if I have subinterfaces on physical interface?

Only I can see is physical interface ethernet1/1 in choice list, but in there is my subs ethernet1/1.1 (ingress) and ethernet1/1.2 (egress)....

Re: QOS egress interface

Hello Tician,

It is not possible, only physical interfaces. Check this discussion:

Re: QOS egress interface

Tician,

As Guillermo mentioned above, this appears to be correct. I tried to see if any of my subinterfaces were options on the QoS profile, but they were not. It appears you can only add this to physical interfaces.

Thanks!

Re: QOS egress interface

Yes that is OK, but I conducted some tests and make QOS profile (all app's to class 1, with max and guarantied BW ) and I was applied on two QOS policies for download and upload. Zones of this policies belongs to two subinterfaces of one physical interface. When I turned on QOS on that physical interface and give max and guarantied BW for him, with applied qos profile, QOS working but only policy for uploading matched, regardless I download or upload traffic. So I don't know whether is that because in both cases (upload and download) I have same eggres (physical) interface or maybe some other misconfiguration issue was introduced...
