Hi Friends,
We have a customer experiencing issues with QoS. After enabling QoS, a noticeable reduction in internet bandwidth was observed. Although QoS was configured correctly, the bandwidth dropped from 25 Mbps to 14 Mbps on a 30 Mbps link.
To test this further, we removed the QoS configuration and performed a speed test using an online tool from a device behind the firewall.
The result still showed a similar bandwidth (around 12–15 Mbps), even without QoS enabled.
When testing directly on the ISP link (before the firewall), the speed observed was 25 Mbps.
Kindly help me to mitigate the issue
Device Model:- PA220

Hi @ChandrashekharD ,
Greetings!
Upon looking the provided information, I understand that irrespective to QoS weather it's enabled or disabled, when you are doing the speed test behind the firewall you are seeing the slow speed. It looks like some configuration or environment issue. Not related to QoS.

You may check all the inline component when moving traffic behind the firewalls, additionally you can open TAC case to get it checked further.

How exactly are you testing the throughout through the firewall?
was the bandwidth 25mbps before enabling QoS and now 'stuck' at 15, or was it always 15?
have you looked at this article to make sure you're measuring bandwidth correctly: https://knowledgebase.paloaltonetworks.com/KCSArticleDetail?id=kA14u000000g1mnCAA
try a multithreaded upload/download to see the actual speed, this may give you a better insight of the actual capacity
