Virtual routers Impact

Hi Team,

 

if we create extra virtual routers does it impact CPU/RAM utilization i paloalto?Also do we need manually assign CPU/RAM allocation for newly creating virtual routers in paloalto ?

Hi @V.MADHAVARAJ ,

You don’t need to allocate dedicated cpu/mem for virtual router.

it uses shared resources.

 

Regarding resource utilisation, it depends on configuration and routing table, if you are using routing protocol and routing table is big then resource utilisation will be higher.
