Response page are not display when using explicit proxy.

L1 Bithead

Hi everyone,

I found the issue the response page not display when the client acccess ssl websites and using a web proxy via explicit mode.

I already enabled policy decryption for all ssl websites.

On a browser will display "page not found!" or "This site can’t be reached" when that traffic is blocked or drop by a firewall such as deny applications(facebook, youtube, etc...), drop a malware, but a response page can display only when using the URL filtering feature to block the web categories.

The firewall deploy in virtual wired mode.

I need the response page to display for users when they access to prohibit applications or download a malware.

Anyone with a solution for this, please?

Best regards,

Tin

Hi Kanitin,

Do you have Response pages enabled on the interface?

Go to Network->Interface mgmt profile and create one if you dont already have one applied on the interface which the user is coming on. Just enable response pages in that interface mgmt profile.

For e.g. - my users come on the Trust interface of the firewall. My trust interface, let's say eth 1/1, would have an interface management profile which would have the response page enabled.

Regards,

Anurag
