Hello Guys,
Just a quick question, I tried to dig in the forums but i can't find the right answer. the guide isn't helping too.
I would just like to know the configuration in adding the Path in the Schedule Log Export.
What I understand in the Path is I will just have to add the path on where the file will be saved. (am i right?)
so for example the path would look like "c:\ftp files\pan data\traffic logs\"
however the configuration wasn't allowing me to use special characters. so how am I going to do this?
Here is the sample screen shot.
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Hartkently

Hi
Scheduled log export option is for export logs from PAN Device to your SCP/FTP server (not your workstation).
Path option is to provide information of subdirectores where such log should be writen.
Put there informations about your server name/login/password and press test scp connection and You will see where it tryes write test file.
regards
Slawek

For specifying the path, follow the unix/linux convention ie use forward slashes for your path e.g. /home/user
Just typing in a forward slash '/' means write to the root directory.
Also ensure that the username that you are using has permission/privilege to write to the directory where you intend to copy the logs to.
