SFP Compartibility for HA on PA - 850

Hi Support,

I have cisco sfp model no : GLC-LH-SM, i would like use it as HA1 and HA2 for PA-850 on both the end of firewall.

Would like to know weather it will work or not

Please check out the transceiver history reference. All transceivers listed in this document are supported by current Palo Alto Networks OS releases unless specifically noted. 

 

When using third-party components I would be mindful of https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/services/support/support-policies/third-party-components-support.

Hello,

It should/might. I say plug it in and see what happens. I have used Cisco SFP's in Palo Alto before.

@QasimDPS,

As @OtakarKlier mentioned I've used Cisco (and fs.com) optics in PAN hardware without any sort of issues across many different deployments. I've never personally ran into an issue with it across any of those installs.
