Skype only zone configuration...

Hi!

I am trying to setup a zone with Skype only configuration with the following "Application Group":

• skype
• skype-probe
• web-browsing

The end result is that Skype voice works fine; however, Add Contacts feature in Skype doesn't work.

I am testing with the 5.8.0.158 version of Skype under Windows 7.

Hi...You can add a deny rule for the skype zone to log traffic that are dropped/denied.   Then review the traffic log to see what apps are being used and allow those apps as well.  For example, the 'Add Feature' may be using SSL and we would need to allow this app.

We have few ASUS Skype phone hardware and we would like place them into different VLAN in order to isolate these hardware from other computers.  We want to limit these VLAN for Skype use only...
