Hello,
This inconsistancy has followed the 3.x code into 4.x code for me. When I create a report and "run" - I can get source host and destination name resolution. If I export to PDF or CSV - the name resolution is replaced by the straight IP. However, if I schedule that same report to run daily - the name resolution is contained within the report. Why can't the name resolution be contained with an adhoc run and export of the report? Having to write a report and setup a schedule just to get the name resolution is a lot of overhead. Is there another method? Thanks so much!
Cheers,
Mike

Hello,
Checking in to see if this is by design, a possible bug or if there is a work around. I am trying to do a report on the "last 30 days" - and I thought that I would just schedule it - which would give me the dns host names - however, you can't do a scheduled report based on the last 30 days. It's very important to have the host names in the report - not just IPs. Thanks!

Mike,
It is true that the qualified name is part of a scheduled report. the reports can be run based on calendar days (last calendar day, last calendar week). The gui has the ability to resolve names for display purposes but the manual export will not include this data. You will need to schedule it in order to get these fields.

Thank you for confirming that. Wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. I have placed a feature request with my sales team.
Cheers,
Mike
