Hi All,.
We are trying to use fiber port in the PA 2050 box, which needs to be directly connect to switch. we used the fiber module ( Multi-mode ) which is same as used at the switch end, But the communication is not happening between the switch and PaloAlto device. Is there any specification for fiber module ( for multi mode )? or did we need to buy it from the PaloAlto?
Thanks in advance.

Tough to determine what your problem is, but yes, it's recommended that you use a Palo Alto Networks SFP module for both support reasons and also for compatibility. Talk to your partner or local Palo Alto Networks sales team, part numbers are as follows, but I think the SFP you're looking for is the PAN-SFP-SX :
PA-2000, PA-4000, PA-5000 | PAN-SFP-LX | SFP LX transceiver (PA-5000 series, PA-4000 series, PA-2000 series) |
PA-2000, PA-4000, PA-5000 | PAN-SFP-SX | SFP SX transceiver (PA-5000 series, PA-4000 series, PA-2000 series) |
PA-2000, PA-4000, PA-5000 | PAN-SFP-ZX | SFP-ZX, 1Gbps |
PA-4060 | PAN-XFP-LR | XFP LR 10GigE transceiver (PA-4060) |
PA-4060 | PAN-XFP-SR | XFP SR 10GigE transceiver (PA-4060) |
PA-5050, PA-5060 | PAN-SFP-PLUS-CU-5M | SFP+ 10GigE Passive Cable Assembly (PA-5060, PA-5050) |
PA-5050, PA-5060 | PAN-SFP-PLUS-LR | SFP+ LR 10GigE transceiver (PA-5060, PA-5050) |
PA-5050, PA-5060 | PAN-SFP-PLUS-SR | SFP+ SR 10GigE transceiver (PA-5060, PA-5050) |
