I have 4 TAP ports configured and need to add some more. Is there a limitation how many TAPs interfaces can be set up? I haven't found this info in community or the guides.
Thank you,
Ted

No set limit. It could be <all> of your ports.

Thank you, very much.

If a Palo Alto device is configured with multiple TAP ports, does it process traffic properly in TAP mode?
For example: eth1/5 receives SPAN traffic for VLANs 10–59, and eth1/6 receives SPAN traffic for VLANs 60–100.
Can the Palo Alto device fully process all traffic for VLANs 10–100 ?

As far as I know the port accepts anything the mirror or SPAN is providing on the TAP port, no matter which vlan or network is being forwarded to the TAP. Mirrors can be setup bidirectional or one way too. Does this help?
