Upgrade path and reboots

L1 Bithead

hi,

I need to upgrade from version 10.1.6 to version 10.2.6.

According to the upgrade path article I need to:

first download and install the latest 10.1.11-h6 and REBOOT.

than download and install 10.2.0 and REBOOT

than download and install 10.2.6 and REBOOT.

Are all these installed and reboots necessary?

I remember in previous major version upgrades I only downloaded the base and installed the latest build.

Am I missing out something here?

thanks

Hello @arnona

the upgrade path is: Download and install 10.1.11-h6, then reboot. Download 10.2.0, then download and install 10.2.6, then reboot. It is not necessary to install 10.2.0 base image.

Kind Regards

Pavel

Hi Pavel,

I guess you ment "Download 10.2.0then download and install 10.2.6, then reboot...."

So I'm down to 2 reboots, no way around it.

Thanks!

Did it work? we are planning similar upgrade activity, could you please confirm if download/install/reboot to 10.1.13, then download 10.2.0, finally download/install/reboot to 10.2.7.H3 would work or not?
