Use management port as normal network port?

Can the management port be used as a normal network port, that is, e.g., can it be connected to a virtual router and assigned to a security zone?

The management port cannot be assigned to a virtual router/ no zones can be assigned to it either. Its independent.

You can use the management port for the services listed under device--services--service route configuration provided you have the route to reach them via the management interface.
