I got intermitent connection affecting production PA-5220 VERSION 11.1.13 . Global protect 6.2.8-1045
troubleshooting :
- The VPN tunnel temporarily disconnected and routing entries associated with the tunnel were removed.
- The GlobalProtect client subsequently recreated and reconfigured the virtual adapter.
- A new IP address assignment was received from the GlobalProtect Gateway.
- Tunnel routes were reinstalled after the adapter initialization completed.
- Connectivity was restored immediately after the virtual adapter became operational.
Preliminary analysis indicates that the VPN interruption coincided with a reinitialization of the GlobalProtect virtual adapter. The client removed tunnel routes, recreated the adapter configuration, obtained tunnel parameters from the gateway, and successfully restored connectivity. At this stage, no gateway-side failure has been identified, and further analysis is required to determine whether the trigger originated from the endpoint, the virtual adapter layer, or a known GlobalProtect software defect.
