We're having an issue with GP where all other clients (Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS) are able to connect with the exception of android devices. Users authentication successfully, get the MFA prompt from DUO, and then get this error:
The network connection is unavailable or the gateway is unresponsive. Check the network connection and reconnect.
I'm working with support on this now, but wanted to check to see if anyone else had this issue?

You're possibly running into the issue where the Android client's built-in browser (the "embedded browser") cannot correctly handle the redirect from Duo's successful authentication back to the GlobalProtect app.
Did you configure the GlobalProtect app to use the default system browser for SAML authentication ? This requires MDM setting change as explained here:
