XML reports in Email Scheduler?

I know you can export a report as an XML manually but when you create an Email Scheduled report I don't see any options.

Are emailed reports only in PDF or is there an option somewhere to select this?

The 'Email Scheduler' comes under section 'PDF Reports' only.

I have not seen any option with XML report scheduler.
