After trying to connect, I got this empty message:
Version is 5.1.7-20, the covered part is the name of our gateway.
Any idea what this means?

No, after clicking around blindly, a text appeared in it, saying something like "primary server overloaded, connecting to secondary".
It is clearly a client GUI issue.
