I will be traveling to Abu Dhabi in the next few weeks, but I do need my Global Protect to work there for my work tools. Does GP work in EAU with no problem at all ?

Hello,
While I have never been, it should? However check your configuration to make sure you allow traffic to your palo alto via global protect from that geo location.
