Dear Team,
Greetings of the day...!
One of our customers is experiencing an issue with Firefox when connecting to GlobalProtect from a Linux (Ubuntu) system. We have verified compatibility, and everything appears to be functioning properly, except for Mozilla Firefox.
We would appreciate your expertise in helping us resolve this issue. For your reference, we have tested all the preferred versions of GlobalProtect and observed that version 6.1.2 works well, except for the issue with Mozilla Firefox. Other versions present additional issues.
Kindly assist us in identifying a resolution based on your experience and guidance.

If it's just Firefox that isn't working then it doesn't sound like it's a GlobalProtect issue at all. If this is just on a single machine I would recommend looking at any routing that could have been configured to route firefox around the tunnel interface. It's possible someone set something up to specify a route and has forgotten about it.

This is related to Global Protect only, because when we disconnect the Global Protect, everything works smoothly, and this issue is not with one system there are multiple systems with the same issue when connecting the global protect, so due to that I am confused and there is no any known bug related to it.

What version of Ubuntu are you actually running into issues with @Mebinbaby? I just ran a test on 6.2.6 which is the current build that I'm supplying for a limited subset of Linux users with Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS and firefox functions perfectly fine.
Linux is a bit of a second class citizen for GlobalProtect, but the application isn't even capable of excluding specific application traffic like it would be on macOS and Windows. Have you validated what you're seeing on a fresh installation isolated from any image customization or management solution that you may be using for these machines?

The customer is using Ubuntu 22.04 with GlobalProtect version 6.2.6. On this version, some URLs are accessible, while others are not. However, when the same GlobalProtect version is installed on Ubuntu 24.04, the user encounters an issue with Wi-Fi disconnection.
Is there an alternative solution to address this issue, or is there an existing resolution available?
