SSL vpn VPN and Fortinet stpping support

L4 Transporter

Hello Team,

Regarding the latest new received, We got informed that Fortinet has stopped supporting SSL VPN tunnel mode starting FortiOS 7.6.3 and they strongly recommends customers to migrate to IPsec VPN.

well, my VPN remote access in my company based on Paloalto SSL VPN, and my question is that is there any plans intentions in Paloalto to take the same step, especially that IPsec is not allowed in some countries?

this is very important since my Paloalto SSL VPN based on it and crucial.

Hi @MRamadanAHafiez ,

I haven't heard of any plans or announcements to stop supporting SSL tunnel mode. GP continues to support both SSL and IPSec VPN. In my opinion, I don’t see PAN moving away from SSL VPN. If so, communication will be well in advance. But for now, we are good.
