Dear community,
I have a macOS 15.2 VM with GlobalProtect VPN which is working fine. I wanted to have the host (which is my macbook, also with macOS 15.2) pass through the VM to get to the internet, so that it could benefit from the VPN too (I cannot have the VPN directly on the host unfortunately).
My problem is that, even though I set up port forwarding and NAT in the VM and set the host's gateway as the VM to route all traffic through it, the host is not able to connect to the internet when the VPN is active.
The host connects just fine when the VPN is disabled, but when it is enabled I see that the packets from the host never get a response.
I wanted to ask if it is possible that the VPN is allowing only the VM's packets through, or if maybe I need to review my NAT configuration.
Thank you for your time.
Giovanni
