Can you believe it’s already December?! We certainly can’t. Here is a recap of everything that happened last month on LIVEcommunity. See you next year 😉.
The LIVEcommunity has hit a huge milestone! We surpassed 200,000 members and couldn’t be happier to see our community thrive. A huge thank you to each of our members for being a part of this journey with us—we can’t wait to see what the future holds!
Thanks to all those who joined Palo Alto Networks and LIVEcommunity for Ignite ‘21! We hope you enjoyed the event just as much as we did.
The virtual event (Nov. 15–18) was chock-full of fascinating talks and sessions by IT and cybersecurity insiders, experts, and luminaries. If you missed it, don’t worry—all Ignite attendees can access on-demand sessions by logging into the Ignite 2021 event page and clicking "On Demand" near the top right corner.
LIVEcommunity has a super-cool and useful new feature we’re excited to share with you: Product Mentions.
Part of a comprehensive and descriptive product catalog, you can now mention a product in a discussion using a hashtag—for example, #Cortex, #PrismaAccess, #App-ID and so on—for easy access to all relevant posts and user-generated content. This new feature makes it even easier to find related product information when posting a discussion, reply, or comment. Product Mentions also allow you to subscribe to products and request notifications regarding product-related activity.
Neat, right? Read this article for a step-by-step tutorial on how to use #ProductMentions.
Did you miss our most recent LIVEcommunity event? Our AMA (Ask Me Anything) Event on October 27, 2021 was a wonderful opportunity for anyone in the LIVEcommunity to reach out and ask questions regarding Education Services Training and Credentialing Opportunities for all things Cortex.
Although the live Q&A is over for now, you can still visit the discussion now: Education Services Training and Credentialing Opportunities for All Things Cortex.
LIVEcommunity has a new, dedicated technology page for Private Cloud! On LIVEcommunity's Private Cloud Technology Page, you will find information about VM-Series on Hypervisors like ESXi, KVM, HyperV and also private cloud environments like VMware NSX-T, Nutanix, Cisco ACI and more.
Visit the page now to read discussions, blogs, articles, videos, webinars, and release notes related to Palo Alto Networks VM-Series on Private Cloud.
Palo Alto Networks is now offering direct access to WildFire Cloud Analysis via restful APIs, detached from any Palo Alto Networks enforcement point, with expanded use case support.
WildFire is the largest cloud file analysis solution in the industry, analyzing submissions from more than 80,000 global customers. Customers who adopt the WildFire API will benefit from the research of Unit 42, Palo Alto Threat Research teams, and the growing database of more than 16 billion malicious samples WildFire analyzes every year.
Read more about the WildFire API via our LIVEcommunity blog or check out this webinar: WildFire Unlocked: Expanding Our Leading Malware Analysis Service Beyond the NGFW.
Do you know about our Cyber Elite program? The program is a way to recognize experts in LIVEcommunity from around the globe who are outstanding community members who represent LIVEcommunity's key values. We chatted with LIVEcommunity Cyber Elite expert, Aleksandar Astardzhiev (@Astardzhiev), to talk about the cybersecurity industry, how he got involved in LIVEcommunity, his advice to new members, and more.
Read our Q&A with LIVEcommunity Cyber Elite expert Aleksandar now.
We like to recognize some of our most active members with a monthly LIVEcommunity Member Spotlight; for the November 2021 Member Spotlight, we’d like to applaud @TomYoung for his participation and engagement in the LIVEcommunity. Thank you @TomYoung!
Have you heard of Autonomous Digital Experience Management (ADEM)?
ADEM simplifies IT troubleshooting for the hybrid workforce, reducing the need for such basic troubleshooting. It is designed to monitor and manage the user experience. The ability to centrally implement and monitor remote access security policies and user experience for hybrid employees is a huge advantage—and, thanks to ADEM's native integration with Prisma SASE, the user does not need additional agents, eliminating additional burden.
Read more about the benefits of using ADEM and Prisma SASE.
Palo Alto Networks Web Interface for NGFW PAN-OS has a lot of great features, but one that hasn't been talked about much is the Test Policy Match feature. This very powerful tool can help you quickly troubleshoot to see if you have a rule that will catch certain traffic or not. Learn more about how to capitalize on this feature in this Tips & Tricks blog by @jdelio.
Thanks for reading our November 2021 highlights for LIVEcommunity! We’ll catch you next year for a brief recap of the December 2021 happenings on LIVEcommunity.
