Palo Alto Networks is now offering direct access to WildFire Cloud Analysis via restful APIs, detached from any Palo Alto Networks enforcement point, with expanded use case support.

WildFire has been at the forefront of security with native integrations to Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Firewalls, Cortex XDR, and many other Palo Alto Networks solutions. With this new offering, security teams can now extend the advanced analysis and protections of WildFire to a growing number of use cases, such as B2C customer portals, Cloud Storage Scanning, Threat Intelligence Platforms, and SOAR tools.

Customers who adopt the WildFire API will benefit from the research of Unit 42, Palo Alto Threat Research teams, and the growing database of more than 16 billion malicious samples WildFire analyzes every year. WildFire is the largest cloud file analysis solution in the industry, analyzing submissions from more than 80,000 global customers. Analysis results are updated in real-time and often include detections for novel malware campaigns ahead of other cloud-based analysis solutions.
