Auto Commit stuck at 11.0.2-h2 PA-410

L2 Linker

We have new PA-410 Device which comes with pre-install PAN-11.0.2-h2.

FW Auto commit keeps failing and starting again & again.

Steps we tried: ---

1. Firewall reboot.

2. Factory reset done.

3. Tried to downgrade the PAN-OS to previous version but it failed with error " Auto-commit in queue and cannot process this task".

Please suggest if any solution to mitigate this issue.

Thanks Will. We found 10.1.12 was successful on the PA-410s, and so far we haven't observed any bugs impacting our functionality.

They certainly wouldn't be the first company to use patching priority as a carrot... or as a stick, depending on how you look at it. My 2c is that there's obvious logic in a desire to recover resources from legacy support for reallocation into current versions, but they can't dismiss the fact that plenty of organizations don't have the cycles to test & implement changes very frequently, not to mention that there's always the risk of undiscovered (or undocumented) bugs in upgrading. And seeing as most of us have always paid plenty for our support licenses it's not fair we be penalized in version testing/QA/support.
