hello all
I am working on a BGP configuration on a HA 3220 series install
the BGP status is staying at connect not establish
I enabled BGP on the IP addresses inbound /outbound -- no hits on the policy
Q are there show commands or debugs that can help me determine what the issue is ?
many thanks

Hello @S.Byrne
thanks for post.
If the peer status is stuck in "connect" state, then this BGP peer was likely not able to complete TCP 3-way handshake. Could you check below steps:
- If you configured policy with application BGP, try to replace it with service TCP 179.
- Check whether update source IP address and peering IP address is correct on both sides of devices peering with each other.
- Check logs from CLI: less mp-log routing.log for more details.
Kind Regards
Pavel
